AMT can help – let me count the ways:

  1. Audience targeting – Ensuring your event is well attended by your current customers and prospective customers means you need to invite the right people. AMT has two products that can help you find your audience and get their contact information. Exhibitor Passport is an online communication tool that allows you to target registered show attendees by geographic region, product interest, buying role, job function, and plant size to make custom sales and marketing lists. Exhibitors from IMTS, HOUSTEX, EASTEC, WESTEC, and SOUTH-TEC are eligible to purchase their respective Exhibitor Passport(s) and utilize them for any of their company promotions. Custom Research is available to all AMT members and can be used in a variety of ways to find new prospects for your event. When you contact AMT with a research request, you’ll speak with one of our Industry Analysts. We do this to make sure that we pinpoint the exact results you are looking for. We have a variety of public and private data sources available to us that can be used to help you. For example, we can curate a list of tool and die shops and associated contacts within a 200-mile radius of Youngstown, Ohio, or Tier 2 aerospace suppliers in Oregon, Washington, and California.

  2. Presentations – Not only would it be an honor for AMT staff to be invited to your event, but we are available to exhibit or present at it as well.

For example, Steve Lesnewich, vice president of Member Services, was invited to the Hales Machine Tool, Inc. open house in Plymouth, Minn., and was asked to give a brief presentation. His presentation covered an economic update and overview of regional machine tool orders from the USMTO benchmarking survey and other AMT data sources. Upcoming AMT events and business opportunities for customers and partners were also shared. You can also request a product demonstration, like MTConnect, where we come to speak with your customers about how to get started using MTConnect and the importance of the open standard.

  3. Promotions – Do you have a press release or a short write-up with photos? All you need to do is log into your AMTonline.org account, go to “My AMT,” and click on the “Member Content Submission Form.” Your story could also be featured in the next edition of AMT News! We also have great relationships with several media partners that we can connect you with to broadcast your event not only in print, but digital and social media, to expose you to new audiences.

  4. Training – We offer online classes through MTUniversity.com to make sure that your staff is well educated on the technologies you will be showcasing. You can also schedule live training where your team will receive the sales and relationship building skills refreshers needed to make engaging connections with all of your customers.

AMT’s goal is to provide the programs and services that will help our members’ businesses grow in every facet. If you can think of any other ways that we can help you out, we’ll do that too! If you are ready to get us involved in your upcoming event, whether you are hosting or participating at another company’s event, contact me right away at kbrown@AMTonline.org or 571-432-7282. It’s not too late!
