AMT’s Member Services team is determined to start 2019 with a strong focus on getting our new members involved with solutions that will help their businesses.  We know that by the time a company applies for membership, they are motivated and ready to leverage AMT resources. So, what’s the best way to keep that momentum going once they officially join the membership roster?

Companies in the MT space want to become AMT members for a wide variety of reasons. It could be the opportunity to network with our diverse membership base, gain more brand awareness, learn about a new technology application, or target potential end-users in a hot industry.  Whatever the reason, we are excited to work with you and provide the tools to achieve all of this.

We want to make sure that once a member joins our association, they can immediately take advantage of our resources. The Member Welcome Webinars are ideal conversation starters.

These webinars enable AMT to continue to learn about our new members and then merge that knowledge with a detailed presentation about what we can offer to improve your business. We look at it as a great first step to gradually align the right products to meet your specific needs.

We successfully hosted more than 10 webinars in 2019, and each was unique to the member.  They ranged from a one-on-one with a company founder to a group setting, like the one we hosted with a marketing team preparing to roll out a new product line.  Regardless of size or inspiration for the webinar, we always establish a goal and continue the conversation afterward.

So far, one common element is that most new members are interested in data and how it can help in building their sales pipelines.  AMT not only has access to current industry data, but more importantly, the right tools to help a member use the data to increase sales, make a strategic plan, cut costs, improve operations, etc.  As we do more webinars, I am sure more common threads and hot topics will emerge.

In the next few months, we will continue to learn more about what our members want and how we can help them. The Welcome Webinar is just the first step – a catalyst to start a long-term dialogue, providing top notch products and services to all AMT members, both new and seasoned. If you would like to discuss your pain points with the Member Services team and see what they can do for you, please contact Aslan Moini at amoini@AMTonline.org or 703-827-5290.
