Ian S. Stringer is the Director of the Business Intelligence Group, which develops data management systems that serve the unique needs of the manufacturing technology industry. His team’s responsibilities include project management, software and database development, research and development, and marketing.

In 2000, Mr. Stringer joined AMT following two years of banking industry experience. Throughout most of his AMT career, he has served members by providing market intelligence through benchmarking surveys and custom economic research. His experiences in this role drove his interest in finding ways to more efficiently deliver market intelligence to the membership, and he became proficient in areas of computer science.  

Mr. Stringer graduated with honors from Ithaca College with a B.S. in Applied Economics and a minor in Physics.
