AMT’S MTCOUNCIL FORUM CHANGES FORMAT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF MT360
McLean, Va., (December 17, 2019)— The Association For Manufacturing Technology (AMT) along with its partner Traction Technology Partners (TTP), today announced that in 2020 The Manufacturing Tech Council (MTCouncil) forum will be changed to face-to-face meetups at MT360 and other AMT events in 2020. AMT will play a key role in setting up strategic meetings on behalf of MTCouncil members with innovative technology companies, entrepreneurs, and the VC community at the inaugural event, being held May 12-14, 2020 in Silicon Valley. Additionally, AMT will provide an MTCouncil Member Discount at 50% off the standard registration price for MT360. To receive the discount, MTCouncil members should register with the code “COUNCIL” prior to December 31, 2019. Additionally, all MTCouncil members will continue to have access to the online platform through November 1, 2020 to engage with members and learn about transformative technologies and innovative startups.
“The purpose of the MTCouncil—to create dialogues and connections between AMT members and entrepreneurs, Fortune 50 end-users, and technology leaders about their perspectives on, and roles in developing, transformative technologies in the manufacturing industry—will be better served with this new structure and approach,” said Travis Egan, vice president of business development at AMT. “There is more opportunity to forge new business relationships and broaden networks in this new format. We see the inaugural MT360 event as the next evolutionary step in truly connecting the technology and manufacturing communities.”
AMT and TTP launched the conversation about transformative technologies, business cases, and impacts to manufacturing through the MTCouncil. Over the past two years, members heard from nearly 60 individual contributors spanning 18 focused technology topics via web casts and the Council platform, including over 44 vetted manufacturing-relevant startups.
