What is a CMTSE?

A nationally recognized program that certifies manufacturing technology sales engineers.

The Certified Manufacturing Technology Sales Engineer (CMTSE) Program is the only nationally recognized program to measure and celebrate the skills, knowledge, and ability of sales engineers to perform effectively. Since 1993, more than a thousand individuals have taken the CMTSE exam and have earned the CMTSE designation through a combination of practical experience, formal study and successful completion of a comprehensive, nationwide examination. The CMTSE program is supported by AMT, the [National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA)](https://ntma.org/), [Precision Metalforming Association (PMA)](https://pma.org/home/), the [Machinery Dealer's National Association (MDNA)](https://mdna.org/), and the  [Canadian Machine Tool Distributors' Association (CMTDA)](http://cmtda.com/).
