CMTSEs demonstrate through personal experience, education, and testing their knowledge of manufacturing technology sales. The CMTSE recertification process reinforces these strengths by delivering ongoing educational and professional growth. The CMTSE is awarded in three-year terms, and recertification is required by the end of the third year to maintain one's status as a CMTSE. Recertification entails the completion of an educational microcourse focusing on digital technologies that are advancing modern manufacturing. Upon completion of the microcourse, the individual's CMTSE status will extend for another three-year term. Through 2023, CMTSE will complete the Transformational Technologies Course, which covers additive manufacturing, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, automation, digital twin, and generative design. ($150 recertification fee required)
