Happy New Year, Happy Show Year!

Jan 02, 2024

Welcome to 2024! It’s the time when we make New Year’s resolutions, which often center on improving health, wealth, and relationships. At AMT, we resolve to deliver an extraordinary IMTS 2024 so you can strengthen your company’s financial health and boost your business relationships.   No doubt, you’ve resolved to have a successful IMTS exhibit.  To make that happen, follow these steps: choose specific goals, make a detailed plan, get support for your plan, and start with small steps that lead to easy wins — like attending the IMTS Exhibitor Workshop. (Register now here.) Held at McCormick Place on January 30-31, the workshop enables exhibit planners and marketers to take advantage of every available opportunity to optimize your exhibit investment.  “I learned so much at the workshop. It is a playbook of what to avoid and what to embrace when planning for IMTS,” says Therese Corrigan-Bastuk, marketing director at OGP and IMTS Show Committee member.   The workshop is free, the hotel room rate is great (book before January 10), and the advice exhibitors receive is priceless.  Four More Steps for Success

  1. Sign up for Exhibitor Report. We all need reminders. The Exhibitor Report emails include the details about the space assignment, marketing your booth, staff planning, media relations, and travel/hotel information.

  2. Log in to your E-kit (short for Exhibitor Kit), which is the central hub for exhibitor logistics and booth marketing. Pay attention to the deadlines. Also, be sure you update your company information for your showroom on IMTS.com, especially as you confirm exhibit content. Note we’re giving the e-Kit a new look that will launch in mid-January. Also, the Exhibitor Workshop includes sessions on using the e-Kit and its new navigation.

  3. Watch recordings of previous webinars created for exhibitors; just log into your e-Kit and click on exhibitor education. More webinars will be coming for IMTS 2024.

  4. Use the Exhibitor Passport. The Exhibitor Passport contains data from previous IMTS attendees and data for IMTS 2024 registrants for a total of more than 100,000 verified, qualified manufacturing prospects in all. Combine that with powerful search filters, and you can understand why using the Exhibitor Passport for your marketing campaigns can deliver up to 20% more qualified leads.

We hope you are as excited for IMTS 2024 as we are. This point in the show cycle always feels like a roller coaster that is just reaching the top of that first big climb. When the Exhibitor Workshop kicks off, we’ll be speeding down the tracks, but we will be speeding in control with a good plan in place and great support from the AMT team and your fellow IMTS exhibitors.
