Specializing in the manufacture of metal-rubber auto parts, Mobensani, a company based in Guarulhos in the greater Sao Paulo region, projects growth of at least 20% in production volume and revenue by 2025. This expansion will partly reflect the auto parts replacement market's growth, which saw a 13.3% increase in revenue in 2024. Investments in the expansion weren’t disclosed.
Komatsu, a Japanese manufacturer of equipment for the construction, mining, industrial, and forestry sectors, has announced a new cycle of investments in Brazil. The company will invest $25 million by 2027 to modernize and expand its factory in Suzano, Sao Paulo. The new investment adds to the $35 million already invested since 2023, totaling $60 million.
Brazilian mining company Vale will invest $12.3 billion through 2030 to expand iron ore and copper output at the Carajas complex in Para. The company aims to boost iron ore output to 200 metric tons annually and copper by 32%.

Humanscale will invest nearly $30 million to expand its facility in Nogales, Sonora. The expansion will add manufacturing and logistics capacity, strengthening its North American operations.
Hengli Hydraulics inaugurated its first plant in Latin America with a $325 million investment. Based in Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon, the facility will produce hydraulic cylinders for heavy equipment.
Buhler began building its first plant in Mexico with a $56 million investment. The site in Matamoros, Coahuila, will manufacture food-processing and grain-handling equipment.
Safran inaugurated its sixth facility in Chihuahua with a $7 million investment. The 210,000-square-foot plant will focus on evacuation systems, expanding the company’s aerospace presence in Mexico.
Unilever announced a $400 million investment in a new plant in Salinas Victoria, Nuevo Leon, that will focus on beauty and personal care products for regional export.
