The U.S. economy grew by 4.3% in the third quarter of 2025, according to the latest GDP report released by the Bureau of Economic Analysis just prior to Christmas. While this report was delayed by about two months because of the government shutdown, the report showed stronger-than-expected growth, making further monetary accommodation unlikely in the first few months of 2026.
