The MFG Meeting has always been a who’s who of leadership in manufacturing tech, packed with market intelligence and economic insights. This year is no exception. Advanced manufacturing leaders at MFG 2023, held April 26-28 in Phoenix, Arizona, at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass, will have a lot to learn from specially curated content all focused on the event’s theme: Manufacturing For Growth.
Powered by AMT – The Association For Manufacturing Technology and in partnership with the National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA), MFG 2023 is the ultimate gathering of manufacturing technology minds, bringing together a community of innovators, creators and problem-solvers.

Leading industry experts will provide insights and expertise to answer today’s burning questions: Is there a recession coming soon? How will North America’s demographics impact my business? What hot new tech do my customers need to stay ahead?
Four main points:
Sessions on economic forecast and demographic impact on your businesses
Insight on the factory of the future and how space exploration will affect manufacturing
Al Moore Award honoring Rick Kline Sr., chairman and CEO, Gardner Business Media
Networking Events (Lively receptions with industry personalities; Fun golf outing; and M4M 5K Walk/Run)
“Anybody who's serious about improving their business in manufacturing should attend MFG,” says Tom Sheridan, president of Royal Products, a manufacturer of precision metalworking accessories. “Just being around a few hundred people in the same game, you can't beat that.”
Speakers and topics include:
“Gauging the Risks Going Forward 2023 – 2024,” by Alan Beaulieu, Ph.D., president of ITR Economics
“Materials, Methods, and the People Manufacturing Humanity’s Future in Space and Below,” by Dr. Jeff Ahrstrom, CEO of Ingersoll Machine Tools
“Factory of the Future and the Importance of the Supplier Base,” by Nick Bullen, chief engineer for advanced manufacturing technology at Northrop Grumman, and Tim Shinbara, AMT chief technology officer

The Albert W. Moore AMT Leadership Award, which is given to members of the manufacturing technology community who have demonstrated a lifetime of dedication to the industry, will be awarded to Rick Kline Sr., chairman and CEO of Garner Business Media (GBM), during the event’s Friday reception and dinner dance. Kline spent decades growing GBM into a diversified media and market intelligence group that has educated generations of manufacturers through such publications as Modern Machine Shop, Additive Manufacturing, and Plastics Technology.

New to the event, the first evening reception will headline with “The Warm-Up Show” hosted by Meaghan Ziemba, Mavens of Manufacturing, and Andrew Crowe, The New American Manufacturing Renaissance, kicking up lively conversation and contests that will energize everyone in the room.
“The value of attending the MFG events is the connections,” says Andreas Weber, Chairman of the Board REGO-FIX. “It’s great to see people in person. I cannot meet that many people in our industry anywhere else.”
